Channeling Another Historical Figure

One thing I will always give B.Hussein Obama (Thanks, Ms. Coulter) credit for is his ability to channel historical figures without the aid of Nancy Reagan's astrologer. (Definitely not a shot at Mrs. Reagan, I'm just not allowing another one of our President's thoughtless remarks go away. I am petty and partisan and quite proud of it.) During the campaign, Obama was JFK. When he was elected, Obama became FDR. For the Coronation, Obama magically transformed into Abraham Lincoln. As President, Obama has become an odd mix of Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover. And Neville Chamberlain.
 
Who ?
 
For those of you who aren't a history nerd like me or graduated from our liberal factory that passes for education, Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of Great Britain who, along with France's Edoard Daladier, pursued a policy of appeasement with Adolf Hitler. These two knuckleheads kept giving Hitler carte blanche in Europe as long as there was no war. Austria ? It's yours, Herr Hitler. Sudetenland ? Ja, Mein Fuherer, Ja. As Hitler was making demand after demand, Britain and France simply gave him whatever he wanted until the most destructive conflict in human history finally erupted, As Hitler took appeasement as a sign of weakness on the part of the Allies.
 
Man, does that sound like Obama's Youtube message to Iran or what ? Instead of acting like the leader of the free world and Commander In Chief of the most powerful military man has ever known, Obama extended an olive branch to a government that actively wants to build nuclear weapons to destroy Israel, The US, or anyone else that doesn't want to go along with turning the clock back to the Persian Empire.
 
Feel safe yet ? I sure don't.

Truth in Advertising

We here at Absolutely Nobama believe in truth in advertising. It's a sound buisness practice. (You remember buisness, right ? You know capitalism, that sort of thing. You know, wealth that hasn't been spread around and actually earned.) We have decided to help AIG get honest with the American people who now own their company.

The real problem with AIG isn't the bonuses. The real problem is the government sticking its snout in where it doesn't belong. Is there any more proof needed that the conservatives are right and liberals are wrong ? At last check, the amendment that protected the bonuses for the AIG leeches was called the Dodd Amendment, named after the Pride of Connecticut himself. You could have seen this coming a mile away.
 
Well everyone other than Turbo Tax Timmy, that is.

Thank you for taking time out of your "busy" schedule to appear on Jay Leno and insult handicapped children. Your comments on your bowling skills were an inspiration to us all of us handicapped people. It's inspiring to know you're on our side. I am so glad that you were able brush aside the recession that is destroying our economy and the last shreds of respect our nation has for the government to appear with yet another Hollywood leftist on TV. You are truly the messiah we have all been waiting for.

Skin In The Game

I've touched on the Messiah's poor choice of words many times before, but I think the ol' "skin in the game "shot at capitalism is the one that irks me the most. Obama makes it sound like buisnesses and their owners have nothing to do with the country. Um...yeah.
 
Mr. Messiah, they are what makes this country work. Not social programs that don't work. Not Ivy League eggheads that have never done an honest day's work. Not the lazy who don't want to work. These people who the left champions are the antithesis of America. They are the exact opposite of what the Framers had in mind when our country was founded.
 
As far as having skin in the game, the folks who own buisnesses have the most. It's their money on the line. If their buisness goes under, a lot of time the owner's finances go down with the ship. If that's not having skin in the game, I don't know what is.
 
Mr. Messiah, do me a favor. Get a small buisness loan and start a Mom and Pop buisness. Put every cent you've ever earned into that buisness. Watch it crumble when the Feds come up with yet another unfunded mandate or absurd tax. Until you've had to fire someone because you can't pay your quarterly taxes and keep an employee who has been loyal to you, you have absolutely no idea what skin in the game actually means.
 
Theories and economists don't fix economies. People who know what they're talking about do.

Combatants No More

The Obama gang this week has decided to do away with the term "enemy combatant" to distance himself from the Bush administration. So what do we call them now ? We here at Absolutely Nobama have some suggestions:
 
1) Dirty animals who deserve to die
2) Child murderers
3) Scum of the earth
4) Vile pieces of garbage
5) Deceased (After their overdue executions)
 
Instead, the left will come up with this:
 
1) Political Prisoners of King George II
2) Unfortunately captured
3) The oppressed
4) Freedom fighters
5) Soon to be set free
 
I am in utter shock by the left's hate of our country. They are combatants in every sense of the word. By simply joining Al Queda, Hamas, Hezbollah or any other terrorist organization, one becomes an enemy of our country. It's that simple. It's cut and dried. Why is this so hard to understand ?
 
Forget learning Chinese. Better start learning Arabic.

I Hope Obama's Policies Fail , Too

Since this seems to be Rush Limbaugh week, I'd like to revisit the earlier comment that Rush made about hoping Obama's policies fail. Well, you can add me to to the list of supporters of that comment. I agree wholeheartedly.

No, I don't want to live in a society that the government controls every move I make. I don't want to live in a society that allows some government bureaucrat to decide on what health care I need. I don't want to live in a society that celebrates failure and punishes success. I don't want to live in a society that will determine whom I listen to on the radio. I don't want to live in a society that is going to decide what kind of car I drive. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the gist of it.

Do I want our country to fail ? Of course not. Follow along on Obama's path, we will fail. We'll fail in the ugliest way possible. We'll fail without the freedom our forefathers fought and died for. I'd rather live under a bridge in abject poverty than have to rely on anyone but myself. That is America. Freedom to Succeed, Freedom to Fail, but God given freedom nonetheless.

Keep It Going, Rush

Rush Limbaugh has come under fire for his comments about Ted Kennedy and The Memorial Bill. Aside from the fact that there is no figure less sympathetic than everyone's favorite drunk, what's the big deal ? How many stupid comments have we gotten from the left ? There's good ol' John Kerry who insulted the troops in Iraq. There's Obama calling our troops terrorists on the campaign trail. (Air raiding villages, remember ?) There's Bill Ayers crying how we should let all the prisoners out of jail. Oh let's not forget Jeremiah Wright, who thought it appropriate to damn America. How about Michelle Obama who is finally "proud" to be an American ? Why is it these comments are glossed over and Rush calling it like it is is so terrible ?
 
As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't put it past Ted Kennedy to use his cancer to get Socialist Medicine passed. After all, he will still get top notch care while the rest of us will only hope to get care before our illnesses kill us . Personally, I think Ted wants to be remembered for being something other than the drunk he was.
 
I'm actually sorry that Ted Kennedy has cancer, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. This guy is no saint, and should never be treated as such.

Is there any more proof needed that Obama is the embodiment of big government ?
 
Now, I'm not going to blast him like I normally would. I am going to try to appeal to his so-called compassion.
 
I WANT TO RETIRE BEFORE I DIE. I HAVE WORKED HARD. I HAVE OBEYED LAWS EVEN IF THEY DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME. I HAVE FAITHFULLY PAID MY TAXES. I HAVE ALWAYS HELD UP MY END OF THE SOCIAL CONTRACT DESPITE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S STUPIDITY. YOU, MR. PRESIDENT, OWE ME, A TAXPAYER, AND A FUNCTIONING MEMBER OF SOCIETY A LOT MORE DIGNITY THAN THAT COMMENT COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DELIVERED. THE STOCK MARKET IS NOT A TRACKING POLL. IT IS THE LIFEBLOOD OF OUR ECONOMY AND THE LIVELIHOODS OF THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THIS COUNTRY WORK. WE THE CITIZENS MAKE THE COUNTRY WORK, NOT THE GOVERNMENT.

Maybe Rush Should Be The Leader

There I said it. Rush Limbaugh is the conservative voice right now. To be honest he should be the RNC chair. Why ? Not only was Rush the first to say what we were all thinking, (hoping Obama's policies fail.) but he had the guts to say it on national TV. While other Republican talking heads were drinking the all powerful Kool Aid, Rush said what had to be said. That, my friends, is leadership.
 
Believe it or not, I'm not all that big of a fan of his show. I like Mark Levin's show a lot better, and I'm really getting into Hannity's show, but neither one has Rush's charisma. That is something we don't have right now. Charisma.

Instead Of Killing Them, We Thank Them Now

A new stategy has been developed by the State of Confusion Department of The United States. Now instead of hunting terrorists down like the dogs they are, the United States is now thanking them for all their hard work.

You read that right. Apparently, firing rockets into Israel and terrorizing the population is an acceptable practice. HiLIARy Clinton has just pledged 900 million dollars from our now depleted coffers to help rebuild Gaza after Israel justifiably leveled the place. Are you kidding me ? You call this a war on terror ? What's next candy grams and singing elves ?

If you're not outraged, you should be. I don't know about you, but I think it's an insult to those of us whose taxes will now be orbiting Pluto. It's an insult to the victims of Hamas and their rockets. It's definitely an insult to the victims of 9/11. If memory serves me correctly, these are the same people who cheered after 9/11. Hey, Mr. Messiah ? How many foreclosed homes could 900 million dollars save, even though that's not the role of the federal government ? Mr. Messiah, you have just cut the military's budget and sent our troops into Afghanistan. I wonder how much body armor that could buy.

Some war. I guess from now on it's the "Big Tickle Fight on Terror."
