History Repeats Itself...To Our Chagrin

I found this quote in a great book that I'm reading called The Coming of The Third Reich by Richard J Evans, published in 2004 by Penguin Press , New York. It was about how Lenin took over Tsarist Russia. Let's now turn it over to Mr. Evans.
 
"The Bolshevik leader and his sucessors moved to construct their version of a communist state and society, with the socialization of the economy representing, in theory at least, common ownership of property, the abolition of religion guaranteeing a secular, socialist consciousness, the confiscation of private wealth creating a classless society, and the establishment of 'democratic centralism' and a planned economy giving unprecedented, dictorial powers to the central administration in Moscow."--The Coming of The Third Reich pg.56
 
Wow. Let's put on our Rightwing Extremist thinking caps and analyze that one, shall we ? (Don't leave that cap on too long. You never know who's spying on the law abiding citizens instead of al Queda. Oops--wrong rant!)
 
 
Let's do this line by line.
 
"Common ownership of property"  You know, like your paycheck is my paycheck, raising your taxes to pay some jerk's mortgage, turning over car companies to the parasite unions. Basically, that's Obama's economic game plan all in one phrase. Cute, huh ?
 
"abolition of religion" and "secular socialist consciousness" Barack Stalin had this in mind when he reminded everyone who would listen to his prattling that America is not a Christian nation. Our wise Vice President nailed the secular consciousness bit with his ever so lovable: "It's patriotic to pay taxes !" (Unless, you're up for a cabinet post.)
 
"Confiscation of wealth and classless society" Again, back to Barack Stalin's economic plan. Spread the wealth and we'll all be poor. Remove any chance of social mobility because it's not fair to the lazy in society.
 
"democratic centalism" A federal government the size of Obama's ego!
 
"planned economy" You know, Obama's big plans on how to make sure we won't have any energy, telling Detroit how to make cars that only a Yugo lover would want, firing CEOs and installing cronies, forcing loans onto banks, forming hysterical mobs, nationalizing healthcare.
 
"unprecedented dictorial power" Uh-oh!

Since the left wants to play Sherlock Holmes (Since North Korea, Pakistan, The Recession, The Middle East, Hugo Chavez, Cuba, and world that has gone to hell is not important enough) and investigate the Bush team, why don't they investigate:
 
1) Obama's bowing to King Abdullah
2) Jesse Jackson Jr trying to buy Obama's senate seat
3) How Roland Burris is still in the senate
4) Nancy Pelosi's use of military aircraft to shuttle her family all over
5) The funny fiances of Diane Feinstein and her carpetbagging husband.
6) Charlie Rangel and his tax troubles
7) The supposedly classified Napolitano memo of hate against our vets being leaked to the media
8) Nancy Pelosi's supposed role in the "torture"
9) ACORN's voter registration practices. (I'm quite certain that's way more important than pouring water on terrorists who could use a bath.)
10)Chris Dodd (Wow! There's enough material there for 20 years!)
11) Barney Fwank saying all is well Fannie and Freddie
12) Who keeps giving Nancy Pelosi botox ? She is scary!

I'd Rather Be Waterboarding

I have 3000 reasons why waterboarding is ok. I'm sure you do, too.  I, for one, couldn't care less about Ali Kaboom's rights. They don't have any. The momment they became terrorists they lost their humanity and given up any human rights they once had. It's pretty simple. To be honest, I think we have been far too lenient with these vile pieces of trash. Instead of catepillars in boxes, we should be using scorpions.
 
 
Folks, we aren't fighting rational people. We are fighting evil that is Nazi like. We are fighting for the existence of our country and way of life. I think the safety of the American people is more important than Ali Kaboom's feelings. My children's safety is more important than Obama's desire to be every dictator's friend.

1) How could you claim to be pro worker when you're clearly anti buisness ? What are the workers supposed to do all day ?
2) If women are allowed to do whatever they want with their bodies, why do liberals scratch and hiss when my wife lights up a cigarette ?
3) Why is Islam the protected religion when its Creation Story is the same as Judaism and Christianity ? PS-- They're not big fans of homosexuality or women's rights, either.
4) If liberals believe in free healthcare for everyone, why was there that half cocked scheme in the White House that would have had wounded vets paying for their own crappy VA benefits ?
5) Where was NOW and Gloria Steinem when Sarah Palin was attacked by the liberal character assassins ?
6) If you liberals are so gung ho about integration, why are you so against giving out school vouchers and allowing minority parents to get their children out of horrid inner city schools and into good schools ? Are you the racists ?
7) Why do teachers deserve a raise when the average high school senior reads on an 8th grade level ?
8) Why is NEA or the rest of the unions so afraid of schools actually having to compete ? If our current crop of teachers (Yes, there are good teachers out there) are so good and deserve these raises, there should be no fear in competing with private schools for students.

I guess we can all stop calling Obama the Messiah now because in his latest foreign failure, Obama has now decided we are no longer a Christian nation. So all of you with Christmas trees and Easter eggs better knock it off. You're Jewish, you say ? Your tax money is going to help Hamas rebuild and we now want an alliance Iran, a country that has taken Holocaust denial to a new level.
 
Notice I left off of my list another monotheistic religion that also hails from the Middle East. That seems to be the only religion the left has chosen not to attack. Government Cheese Block to the first reader that figures it out.

Obama's Size 20 Carbon Foot Print

I have one question for our President: I thought we had tighten our belts and make sacrifices. Reduce our carbon foot print, he says. How on earth do you justify flying two pizza guys in from St. Louis to make 20 pies ?
 
All I have to say is: Keep your mitts off of my light bulbs. I will idle my crappy union made car for as long as I want. I will double flush every toilet I see. I will now take two hour showers every 4 hours. I will make sure my dishwasher soap has as much phosphurus as possible. I will make sure I use as much plastic as possible in response to this nonsesnse. With any luck, I'll find some baby seals to club, too.
 
Oh, by the way, I'm pretty sure some small buisness owners in DC would have loved a 20  pie to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, you know because of that recession thing.

Arrogant ? Dismissive ?

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse when I say I was greatly annoyed by our Savior's comments about America. Is it arrogant to believe that thousands of Americans have died in two wars to keep Europe free from its own stupidity ? Is it dismissive to put America's wants and needs ahead of Europe's ? Is it arrogant to expect NATO to live up to it's obligations ? Is it dismissive to blast these socialist wind bags when they don't act like allies and act like appeasers ?
 
Do me a favor Mr. President. Go to Normandy when you're not too busy kissing up to Europe and bowing to Saudi kings. Go to the first grave of an American solidier and let him know how arrogant he was. Next time you meet a Holocaust Survivor, let him or her know how dismissive America was to Europe's needs.

Why Obama's Bowing Was Wrong

Our President has bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. I don't care what Obama's political spinners and cronies say. A picture is worth a thousand words, or in this case, a thousand groans.

The problem is : This guy, whether we like it or not, is the face of America to the world. When Obama bowed to Abdullah, it was like we all bowed. The last time I checked, we fought a certain Revolution over royalty and its abuses of others. Not only that, but what kind of message does this send to terrorist filth like Hamas, Al Queda, Hezbollah ? " We're closing Gitmo, prosecuting your jailers, abandoning Iraq, cutting defense spending, YouTubing love messages in Farsi to Iran, and now, bowing to a king. We are now weaker than France. Please strike again."
 
And the liberals thought Bush I and II were in Saudi Arabia's back pocket.

I'm Back!

Well, I'm back with plenty of skin in the game. I was very ill and unable to blog, but even without socialist healthcare, I survived. This is what happened: my diabetes caused a heart problem. My personal physician wrote me a prescription and told me to rest. I took the doctor's advice and I am once again functioning. Ain't it grand ?
 
I, for one, am certainly glad Obama's health plan was not in effect. I'm pretty grateful I was able to call my doctor and he was able to see me on short notice. Under Obama's plan, I would have waited for weeks, if not months, to see a doctor. What was a minor heart ailment would have become a major one and possibly killed me had I waited. The doctor gave me a prescription that my wife took to the drug store and the pharmacist filled it while she bought me a magazine and dish washing soap. Within 15 minutes, the prescription was ready, and I was on my way to a recovery. Under our leader's plan, the pharmacist would have to ask the government whether or not I needed the drug despite my insurance and my ability to pay for it.
 
According to the compassionate, wonderful liberals, this system is grossly unfair. Never mind that I used the insurance I purchase thru my employer to pay for my doctor visit and  the prescription, and took care of myself, it's not fair to the illegal aliens who don't have insurance that I was able to take care of myself. I guess it's not fair to the loafers who refuse to work. I guess it wasn't fair to the irresponsible who refuse to buy health insurance.
 
 
Someone wake me up when it's 2010.
